It sincerely saddens us to have to sell this property.  We spent countless hours dreaming of our dream home on this property, but our move to Madison didn’t leave us enough time to build a new home, so we ended up buying an existing home instead.

All sales jargon aside, this really is a unique property without exaggeration.  This area south of downtown is truly Madison’s best kept secret.  You get to live in a very private, rural setting yet sit at a cafe on State Street or on the Capitol lawn in less than 15 minutes.  If you attend or teach at UW-Madison, you can be on campus at a moment’s notice.  If you look east, west or north of Madison, you’ll find no such opportunity… this really is a unique site.

We bought it, not only because of the proximity to Madison, but because of the site’s privacy as well.  There are no houses to the east or west (front and back), and the houses to the south and north are distant and behind trees.  The neighbors are all super friendly, and you’re within easy walking distance of Greenfield Park.

We really do love this place, and would do anything to keep it, but we simply can’t afford two properties!
