“Sustainable Future” Event: The Natural Step Monona

Sorry for the late notice, but this ‘Natural Step‘ event will be held TONIGHT, September 16th at 6pm.

From the Monona Doug blog:

“On the evening of Tuesday, September 16, the Sustainable Future will be on display at the Monona Community Center. The Natural Step Monona hosts exhibits and presentations about living in a more environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable way. Citizens, business people, and city leaders and staff are invited to be active, constructive participants in bringing the benefits of sustainability to our households, businesses, municipalities and community by learning the key concepts and how to apply them.

At this free event, exhibits and representatives from organizations such as Focus on Energy, Sustain Dane, myfairlakes.com, and the Monona Farmer’s Market will be on hand to share their know-how and experiences. Attendees can order a Sustain Dane RainReserve rain barrel; see the fully-accessorized Gary Fisher Monona bicycle, soon to be raffled off by the Natural Step Monona; and enter to win the Sustainable Future door prize – a wealth of sustainable goodies. Visit the website for more information.”
