Owlfest
Saturday, October 18, 8 a.m. to noon
Members, $5/family, $3/individual; Nonmembers, $8/family, $4/individual
Each autumn charming and diminutive saw-whet owls pass through Woodland Dunes on their passage south. Please join us as we celebrate this amazing migration with nature hikes, educational displays, children’s activities, refreshments and, of course, displays of owl banding. New this year: Jeannie Lord, a wildlife rehabilitator, will be giving live raptor presentations at 9 and 10 a.m. Our friends from WOW will bring Cinnamon, their barn owl, to join the line-up. Don’t miss it! An EcoExplorer Event.
